Every time we gave the pelican a squid ring, we go back into the water, to get some water in his bill, to enjoy his meal. He loved it, but we never feed him chips, as that not good for them.
It looks like you've got quite the friend there! I like the ripples in the water and especially that bit of reflection on the bottom that just seems to glow.
He is so cute. I had never before realized how large pelican's eyes are. We are so far from any oceans that the only ones around here are in the zoos. Thank you so much for sharing Percy with us.
