this has to be the coolest, yet creepiest rooms in the abandoned hospital of Beelitz-Heilstätten. It's one of the surgery rooms and actually never been an insane asylum at all. if you're interested you can see more photos and read about its history here.
when i drove up there (it's located about 130km north of my place) with a friend of mine it was bloody foggy the whole time and thus kinda dark, resulting in a very tense and creepy atmosphere.

yes deb, i gonna throw together a book one day for sure (tho i don't have one effin clue as to how to realize that), but i still have many more projects yet to come so i and you will have to wait a lil longer for that to happen.

You really, REALLY need to do a book of all these places. Your photographs do a great job capturing the abandoned feeling and creepiness of them. This is a gorgeous picture.
Intriguing shot. I am just reading 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest' so I find this really interesting. I am glad that such places are abandoned. Unfortunately I think that some of the inmates' modern counterparts are abandoned too. 9
