The grass becomes the wake of the boat as it forces itself forward. You composed the shot perfectly to emphasize this effect. Well done.

For an abandoned boat, this one sticks out a mile. I love the close detail of it, the grass obviously stresses it's out of commission. Wonderfully done, lovely colors, and great texture.

This is my favourite in the challenge. I love the detail and textures of the peeling paint and I love, love, love how the grass looks like a wave of water that the boat is going through.

Hm, I think that I would like this better if it included more of the subject... Without the title I would have no idea what this object was and it certainly wouldn't have represented abandonment to me.
