Love this shot, and I love the cabin! I knew this had to be from the Smokies, Cades Cove. Wish it had ranked higher, it's beautiful, you should frame it. Going to my favorites.
Nice idea. The title ties in with the unnatural lighting effect (HDR I assume). The textures are cool, but overall the picture lacks an interesting subject.
This makes me feel like I'm looking through a door into the past, especially after I read your title. I like the contrast between the color outside and the wood tones inside.
