A rain storm was passing through the Channel which accounts for the weird background. B&W conversion from a RAW original. Tweaked in Curves and some Diffuse Glow thrown in for a little fuzz and grain.

I love how despite the fogginess, the horizon is so very distinct. And you can still see a bit of the islands, too. The glow suits this.

feels damp. Love the gulls just hanging around. The diffuse glow works very nicely (note to self, check out that filter)
