Challenge: Free Study 2008-10 (Advanced Editing VII)
Camera: Nikon D40X
Lens: Nikon AF-S DX Zoom Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 ED
Location: Basement, Leeds
Date: Oct 31, 2008
Aperture: f/5.6
ISO: ISO-400
Shutter: 4.5 sec
Galleries: Abstract
Date Uploaded: Oct 31, 2008

Curtains hanging in my basement, 4.5 second exposure. I turned the autofocus off and played with the focus ring to get the dreamy effect.

I doubt this'll do particularly well but I really like the shot. Hoping this finishes above a 5, could easily not though!

Very beautiful motion abstract! Love the color and the painterly look. This is a passion of mine as well, but as you've learned here, it's not a way to score high in a challenge. Anyway, check out my portfolio, I have a number of these (though I generally don't enter them in challenges any more!)

love the colors and forms; one of my favorites this month. You should check out Dewitt Jones column in the current issue of Outdoor Photographer.

very abstract. I would like to see an original o this one. I can't quite figure out if this is the actual capture, or the photoshop.

Gorgeous colour, a really pretty abstract. Love the bold salmon pink in the centre, it's a really lively photo.
