 Taken a few minutes after . The shadow is from the awning of a Starbuck's. Shot with my 40D in burst mode. (I love burst mode -- I darn near always wind up with something usable.) I liked it that the fellow's body and part of the bicycle frame parallel the shadow.

Yes, the geometry is fun, but Thurber's Dog is a hard act to follow! (I take it the awning moved, hence the shadow doesn't meat the sidewalk?)
