I like it. Don't know what it is, but the photo is very nicely taken, and interesting to look at as well. Great focus and clarity. The angle at which you took the photo is nice, and the placement of the subject (whatever it is) is nice as well. Overall a very pleasing image and definately abstract. I just say good job, and I expect this to be up there near the top somewhere. ~Heather~
This could also win in a Simplicity challenge! Almost space age in its feel, also. I love this one. The ring is like an unachored halo. 8 at least. I hope you tell us how you caught this one.
Wonderfully simple and sci-fi looking. But it looks like the photo was rotated and put on a black background, the outside edges of the original rotated photo are too visible (and no, my monitor is not out of calibration!). 8, would be a 10 without the seems.
Absolutely lovely! The decision to have the center black circle overlap the white ring was great; it anchored the perspective that otherwise would've been easy to lose.
