I love this lens - it's awesome. The clarity is amazing compared to the 14-45 kit lens. I hand held this at 1/40 with a focal length of 14mm and could not believe how sharp parts were. I'm definitely sold on this lens!
Oh and I like the picture too. :) But I have been pretty misunderstood on Tuesday challenges lately. So I'm figuring that if this scores a 5.5, I'm doing pretty good. If it scores a 6+ I may have to consider running out and buying a lottery ticket :P

Hi Michelle, this is still one of faves of this challenge, I am surprised it didn't score higher, yet another case an under-appreciated TS shot! love the dof and textures, wonderful detail. Ain't new macro lenses fun? :-)
I'd say it scored pretty darn well - did you get the lottery ticket yet? Lovely lighting, a $2 bill (how cool!) and yes, that lens seems to provide exceptional results in sharpness. I really like your take on "money laundering" - very creative and well executed.
Amazing clarity is right. I love the little bubbles everywhere, and the glossiness of the water is very pretty. Can't believe you did this to a $2 bill though, very funny. Congrats on another great picture and score.

Nice idea, it looks like you have the focus and exposure down well. There is a bit of glare on the quarter. For me, I guess the composition and the impact of the image aren't sufficient to drive the score high.
