Wow - there's a lot to look at in this shot. I'm wondering if there would be a way to get more direct lighting on the pin/hinge to emphasize it. Might help as I think there isn't enough contrast between the design elements to really bring this image to its potential.
This in looks a bit flat, could have been more alive with better lighting and shadows in it, I guess the sun was not shining at all that day, anyway its sharp and good detiails but I feel the composition could be a little different as this one seems a little unstable if you know what I mean :o like all the weight is in the right side. Blue and rust go together well. The subject though is quite erratic. Cropping just to the right of the hole on the right hand side helps a little to reduce the confusion.
