Great subject. I think you should try to even out the lighting. It seems a bit harsh. Perhaps you could some way to get more diffuse lighting. Bouncing the light or getting an attachment for your flash. That is easier said than done though.
An 'Upside Down' outtake. :-) Something about the "expression" of a wasp that just makes you want to keep your distance. Very nice detail on this. There's a future for this shot in stock sales somewhere I'd think. Well done!
