Yes agree with JMart here, you would normally expect to see these things shot with a very shallow DOF looking almost soft - but I feel this works as well due to the fact that it is tack sharp and pulls the flower out of the background.
Nice detail in the center and surrounding flights. It looks like you used a very generous DOF. The strong contrast in the background distracts a little from the dandelion for me, but the sharpness of it helps mitigate that.
