Too much flash kills this shot. Use a lamp with a shade if you have no way to get natural light to your subject or your subject to natural light. Using a flash when you are this close is very hard to do successfully. Better luck next time.
A little glare, but the composition itself is not really appealing perhaps because of cropping at bottom. Also the metals themselves are not really appealing or interesting to me.

Hey bud! Glad I finally got to see this one up close. Looks good, although I find the glare on the one side a bit distracting. Good luck, good title. Hope I don't get in trouble for knowing who did this.
