Shot with two pieces of foam board and 2 flashes. Shot in RAW. Simple editing: curves, sharpen, saturation.
It was really tough for me to come up with an idea for this challenge. Once I got the idea and shot it, I was pleased with outcome. I'm surprised it's not doing a little better. Was hoping for a high 5 or even 6.

Compositionally, I like this shot. The full bowl of fruit balances nicely with the pieces of peelings on the right. I also like how you have chosen to crop/frame the shot so that the entire bowl isn't included -- this makes it feel more dynamic to me.
Technically, I like the clean-ness of the shot. It seems a bit bright or high key, and on this monitor, it makes it seem as if some of the details are not as visible. The result is then that those spots look "soft" or unfocused. This is especially true on the inside of the peelings, and the parts of the peeling left on the fruit. It also has a slight pinkish cast to it, but that could be this monitor.
Overall, an interesting idea on the challenge, and a well done shot.
Nicely shot! I think that the colour concentration on the orange coloring could have been upped a bit, but I love the double meaning here in this shot!!! 8
