 Macro for the Time Challenged - #7

Finally something on the beach that isn't brown. I almost didn't see these tiny blue flowers. They are only about a quarter inch across. I would like to have gotten a shot that was more into the face of the flowers, but because of the way they were growing I just couldn't get that angle.

I like the way that the colours of the subject are repeated in the blurred background.

beautiful details and lighting .. we have very similar flowers around here but the stems and leaves are totally different .. :)

You always come up trumos with your macros..... This has some very pleasing DOF against the fine detail of the flowers.

These are very interesting & unique flowers for sure. It's hard to visualize the size of them outside of your comments (guess that goes with most flower shots without a reference point of something for scale).

The harsh sunlight is taking away some of the potential impact here IMO as the details are getting washed out a bit. Nothing personal, just an observation. :-)
