Love the shot but i'd like to see more shadow details in his pants and hair. If you re edit and make a second adjustment layer you should be able to find a nice balance and I think it would work for the image.

I'll be looking for this one on the fist page of results. Nicely done usage of negative space, texture and color. I don't care for they heavy black framing on top and bottom though.
