Those colors certainly are vibrant! Another with the focus and DOF spot on. I'm not so sure about having the center of the flower centered vertically, it may be a bit stronger if a tad were cropped off the bottom. Then again, it's just my opinion.
Nice color and detail. I like the OOF bg as well. If it was mine I'd probably clone out that small spot near the edge. It does add some tension to the image, so perhaps that's an artistic choice to keep it?
Pat, love the colors and detail inthe center. The little drop on the right is kinda cool, i like it. We too have had some frost, but I went out looking today and found many bees still working hard.
