I just took this photo in Cambodia were i found this girl playing in a coal dump, but in paticular she is holding onto a lock, this to me symbolises the common problem around the world, which is poverty, here this girl is deprived of a playground or a toy because she is too poor. So in essence she is locked from a normal childhood.

To be completely honest, I really love this photo... the expression is strong, and the finish adds to the emotion of the picture... but... I dont get the sense of play here. The title, the lock, the dirt all suggest poverty, but I dont see the joy of play in the shot. In a free study I would easily give you a 10.
great photo but the play? if I suppose the child play in a game that I don't know as translate in english (to play to hide himself) I can assign the vote to this photo 10!
