This was probably one of the most time consuming shots I have ever done. I took hundreds of shots of my wife with the painted face (untouched), but none of them had anything special. So we decided to call it a day and she went to wash the paint off... with our 9 month old daughter pulling on her. I had two flashes set up in the bathroom (just in case) and one of them had an orange filter (the one by her face). I told her to look at me a couple of times at various stages in the cleaning process, and that was it!
