A bamboo tea whisk on top of a mirror. I placed piece of scrapbooking paper on top of the whisk, and shot into the mirror. The final image was turned counter-clockwise and the contrast was increased.

Beautiful shot! We have a couple of tea whisks at home (which is the only reason I recognize this shape) and now I'm going to spend the rest of the day trying to take a picture as good as this one. I won't succeed, but thanks for the idea. :-)
This is so relaxing to look at - dreamy. Great soft pastel colors, nice lines. My only problem is the jpeg compression artifacts in the area at the top where the two orange shapes almost touch. Overall - an exceptional image that should finish very high.
First let me just say, I love your title. Is it from a poem? This is a really pleasing abstract. I like the feathery verticals and the softly blurred pastel background. This one works for me.
