Good idea. I wonder what it would hale looked like in portrait instead of landscape. A little more depth of field would have made this a little stronger, too. Nice shot.
A nice idea which does illustrate proportion. This image fails asthetically, however. It lacks impact and visual interest outside of the interesting texture of the bark.
