They kept the tradition of the underwear thing when the Compleat Angler bar burned down. The Compleat Angler was across the street, and was originally the home where Earnest Hemmingway lived and wrote when he was at Bimini. Later it was the bar where Adam Clayton Powell Jr got into trouble that ended his political career.
