The point of this layered image is to show two sides of the character of this lady. She is a debutant who has discovered life in New Mexico. She has fallen in love with the West, and is very actively involved in caring for rescued horses.
This was a very simple overlay. Only two layers with a mask on the soft light overlay using a 50% opacity radial gradient to allow a little more of the facial features to come through.
The overlay image was my entry for the Cowboy challenge.
