 Samuel is my 14 month old son.

Our family was out on a pier and my son, who is just learning to walk, was a bit unsure of the whole thing. So, when I sat him down and started taking photos of him, he was happy to sit there nicely. And, when I tipped him over on his back, he just wasn't sure what to do, except lay there.

He looks much wiser than 14 months in this picture. It's truly mesmerizing. Wonderful light on his face. He's one very handsome young man, by the way.
