I'm trying really hard to understand this shot, but I'm having no luck. That could be entirely my fault and not yours, so I won't vote and i'll come back to it again on the second pass.
The artistic value of your photo really appeals to me but without the title, to me, it would be totally meaningless as a photo in a 'Safety' challenge.
Back to comment: This one totally confuses me on how it relates to safety. I like the image for its artistic value and your b& w conversion is very good. Hopefully you put some comments in the photographer's comments section explaining what you were trying to express, as I am very curious. This is a very good image but maybe not the best for this challenge.
