This was taken at my girlfriends aunte's house in Bonners Ferry, ID. We had just arrived after driving through the night to catch these little guys grabbing some breakfast before it got too hot out. I love my 50mm. The f/1.8 stop is amazing, though I didn't use it to its advantage here, I didn't want to risk the hummer being a 1/4 inch too far in either direction. Really helps tone the bush in the back a lot more than it looked naturally. I took several, and by several I mean a few hundred, shots trying to get this. It ended up being the third shot I took, and wasn't able to beat it. I honestly didn't know I had taken it until I scrolled through my camera days later. Tough shot to get, some of you know what I mean.
