when there is a lack of colors, b&w usually shows better w/regards to the texture and shadows. just a thought.

Could you have gotten in tighter to show more of the texture of the wood? Or maybe it's slightly out of focus... it's hard to tell on my monitor.

Cool texture of the door. Stick on the bottom is annoying, minor. I don't know why 'live' isn't capitalized as well in the title.
