Yeah, that kit lens will give you flare a bit. Nice sky though, and how it "connects" with the foreground trees.

Cool sky, it appears to reach down and touch the trees with those finger like clouds.

Actually the center is like that because of the hotspot from the lens. I'm using the kit lens.
