 Lighting was natural light on my poroh - reels were placed on an old mirror in a pattern and focus was placed on reel in 2nd "row".

the repeating shapes is a good concept - i am not sure about the perspective and crop - it seems that a slightly higher angle and more square crop may have had more impact

I like the subject, makes a nice pattern, the gap on the right upper corner is a little distracting from the overall comp, imho make the subject fill the entire frame for this one.

Try getting closer. The empty space in the corners makes this less interesting to me.
