Some little mesquite fronds. This year we've had so much rain that the trees are looking good. Normally they leaves would not be this pristine.
Of course I have several overlays on this so you probably don't even know what I'm talking about...

Really nicely done, from the photograph you started with through the processing. This or something like it would work really well for shallow DOF, too. Works quite well for me in B&W, too.
