 Thanks for the comments on my overexposed flag. I'm sure you are correct when you suppose I was hit with political votes. That's okay. I had a statement to make. The statement was understood. And I was not naive when I selected the title. I got what I expected, and I got a lot of satisfaction from the entry. And I like the image. So I'm happy.

BTW, nobody mentioned the tattered condition of the flag. :)

I am enjoying this. The correctness of the overexposure, as Don says, the simple but effective composition and the almost utter political ambiguity.

It's pretty hard to make an American flag look interesting since it's been photographed so many times and in every way. You've made a good effort here but still not interesting enough to merit higher than an average score.
