 This is actually a negative. The original image was lit from below. Looks good on my calibrated monitor, looks a bit blown out on my cheapo laptop. We shall see...

Where is the abstraction? What is it that you wanted to take away from the image in terms of recognizable structure?

ETA (post voting): Thank you for your cross comment, I found it helpful. Although I have to admit judging abstract art is a very subjective skill. I really failed to see the abstraction in this image that you explained... all I could see was three recognizable objects. I learnt a lot about abstract images in this challenge, and must admit that my entry wasnt truly abstract either. I hope you appreciate the candor of people who actually commented on the images rather than just rating it low. Cheers to learning more...
