This loses impact because the sculpture is overwhelmed by the background, a different angle that minimized the effect of the building in the back could help.
Problems in the lower half of the picture. A horizontal frame would eliminate the telegraph pole, and give more space for the eye to be led into the distance by the horizontal element.

I really like the texture and shape of this sculpture. I can see that you had to photograph it from a difficult angle. As I view this photo, I ask myself what the result would have been if it had been photographed at night with some type of lighting... maybe backlit? That would remove the background from this image and create a really neat perspective. The blue skyline right against the top edge of the statue is a bit distracting to me. Excellent choice of curves though :)
