This is a wonderful shot of a parrot. I like the composition and colors and the choice of a dark background. I didn't really see how this shot fit the challenge and can't give it the high marks it would deserve on the merits of the photo on its own.
I don't quite see the Serendipity here. This is such a fine shot that I'd like to hear how you see it (if you don't want to pm me -- that's fine -- I'll go with the shot alone but a disconnect with the theme)
Lovely capture of one of my favorite birds. My only suggestion would be to increase the saturation or hues just slightly. The yellow and green should really "pop" around the face. Would also like to see more of its face, as a portrait since they're such expressive birds. Good luck with this one! I hope yo do well.
