Delicate, pretty, and awesome, all rolled into one.....

A very pleasing composition, and I love the soft colored flowers against the dark DOF background.

Wonderful! I love these little guys, mine were cooked by the heat waves then beaten off their branches by the rain. Love the processing!

This would make a cool square crop, I think. I agree with the others, nice processing. The background is very soft and wispy. I just discovered that if you sit really close to the monitor, it gets even better, heh.

Yes this style of editing is very compelling - I really love how it complements "cool" flowers & buds.

I've only recently come to appreciate this style of flower-shot as a category of it's own, unique to photographers. The intimate macro of a small flower in beautiful natural light. It's easy to overlook Hosta flowers but they are really nice. This shot is lovely.

I have NEVER seen a Hosta look this good. Great tones and detail and I adore the buds and flowers peeking out from under the leaf. Wonderful job :-)))
