Cranesbill Geranium (perennial; blooms all summer). Wandered out this morning and this scene caught my eye; blew out the sunny flower a bit but not so much that I disliked the result since the veining stood out so nicely.
PP - converted from RAW, cropped, healed a couple of leafy blemishes, cloned darkness into the bottom left corner, burnt sunny flower and dodged shady one, shifted yellow-greens greener, added border, resized, sharpened, blurred one bright spot.
Beautiful. I really like the side-by-side positioning of the lit blossom and the shadowed one. You managed to keep sufficient detail in the shadowed flower, and the lit one is only a little too bright. You still got the good vein detail in the bright blossom though. A really hard lighting situation to expose well, and you succeeded.
