I like the way you managed to expose properly for both sky and sea. The technicals of this shot are very good. I can't help but feel, however that this is a snapshot. I think that feeling is based only on the lovely woman smiling directly into the camera, but it's there nonetheless.
I like the centering of you behind the mast. Something real appealing about this shot. It'd be cool in BW with some contrast and level adjustments too. Good luck. :~)
