And for those that asked, setup was simply cam on tripod, balance woody (the hard bit) blue tak the tube from a used kitchen roll to a £3:00 desk lamp and hold it as far away from woody as possible to get a clean spotlight composing the shot as I intended then clicked with a wired remote.

I would have called this one "Smarty Pants", or "Show Off", but I like your title to.
I really do like your lighting with this one, and yes, this is my second comment.
Can you add your set up, and lighting please. I don't know why I ask that, as I do not have any lights. I just really like your lighting, as it add to 'the mood' to the image.
Dude! An easy fav for me. Congrats on 5th! And on your second best score. Although I can't believe Woody will be ahead of your awesome eagle head shot. :)
Back to comment: Clever use of light and shadow play sets this apart from most of the entries. It's not just a posed scene with a cute caption to make it work. This works because you made light work for you. 10.
What the hell were you thinking!? This would have been soooo much beter in black and white ;o) All jokes aside, I hope your woody keeps on rising all week and look forward to seeing you on the frontpage (fingers crossed) ;o)
