I took a picture of this exact same thing earlier this year! You know what they say about great minds... ;)

Thanks for all the nice comments, this was taken near the Pike place market in Seattle, the neighborhood is full of artistic items.

This is really nice! I have never seen pipes with plants sticking out of them. I like the stark contrast between the pipes and the red brick, and then the softer contrast with the plants. Nice job!

Good seeing. The orage brinks and black PVC work very well together. I'd give it another point if the plants were all green.

What an interesting idea... The shaodows and angle aren't complimentary.

It fun, but I don't see a serendipity in this photo.

Aaugh! It's the revenge of the psychopathic plumber! Great shot.

This is an interesting subject matter. The only thing that bothers me is it seems like the focus is soft and it needed to be sharp to really "pop"

great idea for a planter but how is this serendipity???

I hope you include the history of this image in your photographer's notes. It's a great "hunk of sculpture" for sure. And that you found it is certainly serendip! 8

Reminds me of Mario Bros. for some reason.

Lovely shot. I like the color and texture of the brick wall. I wish the plants in the pipes were healthier so as the make the serendipity point better but I still give it very high marks.
