I took this out on a field while driving through Wine/Cow country in northern CA. The sun was setting behind the horse. I used my zoom from the side of the road, using the setting sun as a rim light for the horse. Even with a lens hood there was a bit of lens flare, and a lot of contrast reduction, which looked fine on the camera's LCD, but really showed up (in a bad way) once I saw it full-size.

Couldn't sharpen because it brought out the highlights in the grass too much, without much benefit to the horse.
