You daughter is darling!!! Couple of suggestions. :) Crop the top of the shot a little more to get rid of the bridge or whatever the concrete piece is in the corner. It is distracting. Watch your background as unintentionally, there is now a tree growing out of your daughter's head. You could either position her a bit differently so the tree isn't directly behind her, or you can shorten your DOF (larger aperture (smaller numbers)). This will actually blur the background more and you wouldn't even need to worry about the sprouting tree. :) This is very useful when the background really doesn't add any interest.
The white in the pants looks a bit harsh in the shot. Maybe shooting at a different time of day to get a less harsh light might help. A neutral density filter might also help.
You've a darling little model. Utilize her! Shoot tons of shots and you will soon realize that people might become your strong suit!! :) Hope some of this is helpful. It's truly not a bad shot at all!!
