There I was, shooting away at this dragonfly, oblivious to another insect creeping out, probably looking for a meal! This is the last frame I captured before the dragonfly rocketed from it's perch!
BTW Took this one while trying to figure out why so many of my images with my new EF 100-400mm IS lens are soft. The culprit... a cheap UV filter!

Well spotted. I almost missed the spider - I initially saw it as part of the vegetation - just shows how well camouflaged it is! The background bokeh is good, giving a hint of the scene without being distracting, but I wish there was a little more detail in the dragon/damsel fly as it s looking a little bleached out.
