Shot with a canon 100mm Marco lens, I was trying to capture the brilliance of a diamond and while showing the sharp contrast of the blood associated with some conflict "blood" diamonds. I know its a political shot but I think most people will enjoy it.

Disappointed 5.5
Expected 6.0-ish
Dream 7.0

reference to the movie? i love the drop, but the diamond isnt very sparkling, yet again, diamonds are extremely hard to light.

I think this shot could have gone a bit further with more light on the diamond to make it sparkle against the steel tweezers.
