Just wondrous nature and a bit of Levels/Curves adjustment layers. Final tweak was a subtle sharpen of the Lightness channel in Lab colour mode.
A beautiful beach this, called La Lagune, and choosing a shot this month has been tough, so I'm not sure if I've made the right choice. I love it though and did take a lot of time exploring compositions. I was also happy that I timed it right as the sun drifted behind the clouds to deliver some lovely rays and a slightly subdued light across the water.
It was between the landscapes shot here and some recent action shots of BMX and kitesurfers, but this got the edge.

The balance of light is amazing. Such a large dynamic range, I would guess done with filters as this doesn't have that HDR feel, very natural, like this is how my eye would see it. 10
Beautiful image. Great sense of composition. The foreground geology is far more interesting and pretty than a simple sky shot with crepuscular rays that many people would have been tempted to capture. Nicely done!
This pic opened and I said out loud "OOOOH! WOW!" and that don't happen often. This is a photo you should be very proud of for years. Can't find anything wrong with it sorry! It's Perfect and not overly processed to be so. Awesome, thanks for the pleasure of viewing it. I hope this places!!!!! Voting 10 and adding to favs. Scott
