Gotta go all the way down to 13th place to find a "real" still life. Congrats for being the first-ranked of the images that actually adheres to the classic sense of the challenge description :-)
I am not sure about the choice of BG... I wish it had been more OOF, to the point of not seeing the pattern - it distracts too much from an otherwise very well executed still life.
Great lighting. The way the fruits are lit is excellent. The only thing I would have done differently here is - using a dark colored jug instead of the distracting white one. That takes all the attention.
I'll try to leave a comment...again! I believe what I said yesterday is that I really enjoy the muted color of the grapes. The placement of the pitcher is much stronger than prior versions. Good study.
Im not voting as I am in this challenge myself. I just wanted to congratulate you on what I call a TRUE Traditional Still Life. There are only a few in this challenge (yes I do know the meaning of still life blah blah) I prefer TRADITIONAL. This is excellent, well done to you.
