This picture is exactly what you see... I bought a roll of grass (called SOD) and took it to the Beach, set it up with a beach towel, a glass of water and a magazine (Lawn and Garden ... home made magazine...) Yes... I did get several confused looks be people walking by... i just smile at them and they smile back... I find that no matter how crazy of a thing you are doing, people are accepting of it as long as you have a camera around your neck...

this is a great idea (and the kind of thing that scores well on this site) and the composition is solid but you gotta work on your editing skills to bring ideas like this to the next level. You'll get a lot of low scores for for the flatness of the image - there are too many gray pixels that muddy the appearance. This can be remedied with some curves or levels work in photoshop, setting your 'black point', etc... Good luck, you seem to have some really novel ideas, hope you can continue to grow in your execution of them.
