that is one exotic african bird! you know, the only thing that lets this down is the noise in the background, but this is a stunning bird and the light is perfect
What a beautiful bird! I can see why you cropped it as you did but I think cropping up from the bottom by a bit would be better for the overall image. I know you didn't want to lose any of the tail feathers. It's a tough decision to make and it's totally yours. I like it!
Nice bokeh, just a touch grainy, but that doesn't bother me. The beautiful pastels of this bird with the excellent capture of it's feather textures override all other sins. Very nice.
An incredible shot (for me at least), as the DoF makes one believe this is a macro job, yet the awesome bird doesn't look like it is glued in position... I hope you share the details. (not voting).
Lovely shot. You captured this one beautifully. The colors are incredible. The backround would look nicer if you smoothed it out with a program such as Neat Image.
