This is a great shot with a great expression, but I feel it could be benefited by some of that dappled light actually hitting the man's face and illuminating it, and also if the image itself was sharper. Portraits generally need to be tack sharp in order to be effective - this difficult to achieve in candid street photography because you don't have control over many aspects of the situation and you're probably shooting with a long lens. Have to make sure that your shutter speed is as high as possible b/c camera shake grows exponentially with the longer lens you use. |
