eww another close-up of a tongue :) the reds in this are really nice, and the focus on the lips is great. Getting rid of the shadow on the face would have been good. My favorite thing about this photo is the square crop and diagonal composition, it keeps your eye moving around the picture.

This could have been a major contender, but let me point out what threw up a big red flag to me: the blurring beyond the lips on the face. I wish you could have left that area alone - that really hurt the shot.
