I like the concept/subject matter, but the overall image might be a little too "clean" for me in specific regard to what's in it (unless you were going for more of a "this is just a bit of innocent white powder" look). I definitely think I would have liked it more on a scratched/filty mirror or piece of broken glass, slightly underexposed, grainy, not quite as zoomed in/less cropping, etc, but that's just me. The photo on a technical level looks fine to me, however, and I applaud you for even posting such a thing at all. Nice work (I gave it a 7).
I guess I see your poiint of view....I see this as more a weakness not strength. Put it is a powerful drug and if you look at it like that you meet the challenge
Soft focus on the powder (front and back) detracts - try stopping down more if you can. Diagonal placement works well. Needs a bit more space behind the power at the top and to the left of the razor blade.
Good picture with strong messages! The colors are great the only thing that bugs me is the overexposured part in the topleft corner, other than that Very good - 9
Imagination is the key in this "strength" contest! I would had use a closer diafragm to focus not only the middle line, but all of them, because having some of the "main characters" out of focus is a little annoying (the first line and the stuff on the back).
